On a packed Wednesday night in November, a table of 11 walked into Erie Elks Lodge 67 and walked out raving. That kind of night happens regularly here, and it tells you everything about what 2409 Peninsula Drive actually is: a real gathering place where the food holds its own and the crowd keeps coming back.

The B.P.O.E. Erie Lodge 67 has been part of this city's fabric for generations, carrying the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks' commitment to community, veterans' support, and charitable giving. Members and their guests find a comfortable, unpretentious space along Peninsula Drive, just minutes from Presque Isle State Park, where the conversation flows as easily as the drinks.

Visitors who have stayed nearby in camper vans, rolled in from downtown, or just stumbled across the lodge for the first time all say the same thing: the staff is genuinely friendly, the atmosphere is family-friendly without feeling stiff, and the food is a legitimate reason to return. With a 4.6-star rating across 167 reviews, the numbers back up what regulars have known for years.

What We Offer

The lodge runs a full-service bar and kitchen that punches well above the expectations of a private club. The menu draws crowds on weeknight dinners and weekend afternoons alike, with selections that have earned consistent praise from tables of two and parties of eleven. Friday nights stretch to midnight, and Saturday hours run from 11 AM through 11 PM, making it a natural anchor for a full day on the peninsula.

Beyond the dining room, Lodge 67 hosts events, charitable fundraisers, and member programming throughout the year. The Elks' national mission of supporting veterans, funding scholarships, and serving local communities is lived out through regular initiatives organized right here in Erie, PA. Membership opens the door to those programs, discounted access, and a network of Elks lodges across the country.

Guests and prospective members are welcome to come see the space, enjoy a meal, and learn what the lodge is about. The bar is open seven days a week, and the kitchen delivers the kind of home-style cooking that fills a room on a Tuesday night and keeps people talking about it for days afterward.

"It was a packed house on Wednesday, November 19th, and we were there with a table of 11 people. The food was outstanding, everyone at our table was very happy with their selections. Hats off to the staff, the kitchen kept up with the large crowd better than reasonably expected. The bar and the service staff were friendly and professional, they had no problems handling the crowd and getting everyone's orders out in a timely fashion. All involved should be very proud of a job well done!"

"Stopped in at the Elks of Erie and camped our miter home. They were so gracious! Had drinks and met the most giving people we have met in a long time. Gave us a Lodge pin and visited with us like we were long lost family! Thanks to all! Thank you all, JR and Jeanne Ames from Springfield Mo"

"Got the prime rib special. Was cooked how I asked. Service from our waitress Stephanie, was the best I've ever had there. I'm pretty sure that was her name. I'm sorry if I got her name wrong. I will feel bad if I can't remember the name of the best waitress their because I will ask for her every time I go."

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
